The purpose of this study was to predict mental awareness based on decision making styles and ethical reasoning. The population of this study was all students of psychology affiliated to Tehran University of Science Sciences. The sampling method was multi-stage cluster sampling, which was selected using a sample of 340 people using Krejcy and Morgan tables. In this study, the Becker Mindfulness Questionnaire (2006) Scott and Bruce Decision Making Style Questionnaire (1995) and ethical reasoning questionnaire were used to evaluate the dependent variables of the research. The results of stepwise regression as the findings revealed that the rational decision making style justifies 20% of the observed variance in consciousness and adds the variables of intuitive decision making style, dependency decision making style, instant decision making style, avoidance decision style, and Moral reasoning increased the previous variance by 4, 2, 2, 2, 3 percent, respectively. Thus, the six models introduced into the regression analysis together explained 33% of the variance of mind-consciousness. Therefore, the results showed that there is a relationship between ethical reasoning and decision-making styles with mindfulness. Therefore, mind awareness is predicted based on ethical reasoning and decision-making styles.

Using the survey method, the study’s sample consists of 105 primary-school pupils 6 to 12 years of age from District 12 in the city of Tehran, whose parents had divorced. The mother or father who has custody of the child filled out two questionnaires: Achenbach Scale (CBCL) for child affective-behavioral difficulties and the Naghashian’s Child Rearing questionnaire. Findings show a significant relationship (r=0/410) between child's behavioral difficulties and developmental tasks. The results of multiple regression analysis indicate that improvement of social support network and the occurrence of regular visits with mother or father, who does not have the child’s custody, are the main predictors of child's behavioral difficulties. Based on the results of the study, the quality of developmental tasks over the family life cycle and child rearing are more important than the experience of separation and divorce. These factors have several effects upon child's behavioral difficulties. Keywords: Divorce Behavioral Difficulties Developmental Tasks, Family Life Cycle Child Custody

Religion, identity and media play major role in defining and directing the lives of young people in every community, especially in Islamic countries such asIran. Concerning the connection between religion and the media, in particular, new foreign media, many people believe that the media undermine the religiousidentity of the people by distributing and displaying opinions, images andideas, which are against and in conflict with religious values. Another fact isthat commenting on the youths and teens’ religious transformation, regardless of the media seems insufficient and incomplete. The present study investigatesthe relationship between media, i.e. the internet and satellite programs, and religious identity of high school students in Marvdasht. To overcome theobjectives of study, we employed a survey research via providing a questionnaire to collect data. Participants are also chosen through a clustersampling technique to fit the study requirement. Findings reveal a negative and significant correlation between the two variables, i.e. using the internet andsatellite, and three dimensions of religious identity of students. The highest correlations between using the internet and three dimensions of religiousidentity are found in practical, emotional and ideological dimensions, (-0.53), (-0.44) and (-0.39) respectively. Thus, it might be concluded that, greater use ofsatellite and the internet aim to reduce the religious identity of the studied high school students in three practical, emotional and ideological dimensions.

Education institutions are considered as the public recipients hosting a majority of new social members. In this paper, we have tried to explore gender discrimination through excavating the content of the compiled Persian textbooks of all cycles in elementary level and to offer relevant conceptualizations of the hidden phenomenon for better understanding of all. The intention of the researchers in this study was also to focus on revealing how the education system and school institutions in the country produce and infuse wrong gender stereotypes into the minds of students as the consumers of their products. Some argue that gender differences rooted in biological differences of individuals. This study attempts to explain how behavioral differences are arisen from individuals’ types of socializations. It is generally believed that more attention and value has been given to the role of men than women in most societies and men are of higher social dignity. Such a belief has been generated and reinforced as the part of a program embedded in the school textbookswhich will be perpetuated to others. Therefore, content analysis of textbooksin which wrong stereotypes of gender has been highlighted seems to be crucial. The mentioned prescribed stereotypes and wrong social norms are hard to be broken and girls are seen as the social actors of the text that is set before them. In this regard this question might be stated that: Do roles and gender identity naturally define biological diversity? Or does socialization context add to this problem?Through the analysis of the content of Persian textbooks in elementary schools, it was found that the educational system has generated, reinforced, and crystalized such wrong perspectives instead of changing the attitudes.

Religion, religious identity and media play an important and fundamental role in defining and directing the lives of teenagers and young people in any society, especially Islamic societies like Iran. But regarding the link between religion and the media, especially foreign modern media, many people believe that these media provide the basis for weakening the religious identity of people by publishing and broadcasting various opinions, images, ideas, different and contrary to religious values. Therefore, today it seems that commenting on the changes and developments of the religious identity of youth and teenagers is incomplete and insufficient, regardless of the role of the media. Therefore, the present article examines the relationship between the use of satellite and the Internet with the religious identity of high school students in Morvdasht city. The research method of the study is a survey, and a questionnaire tool and a multi-stage cluster sampling method were used to collect data. Based on the results of the research, the correlation of both variables of Internet and satellite use with all three dimensions of students' religious identity was negative and significant. The highest correlation of Internet use with dimensions of religious identity was, respectively, in practical dimensions (-53), emotional (-52) and belief (-49). The highest correlation of satellite use variable with religious identity was, respectively, in the practical dimensions (-53), emotional (-44) and belief (-39). In this way, it can be said that more use of satellite media and internet in order to reduce the religious identity of secondary school students has been investigated in the three dimensions of practical, emotional and religious.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the use of information technology communication tools (mobile phone, internet, Instagram, and Telegram) with depression in Mako Free Zone students.Methodology: The current research was of correlation type and according to the purpose, it was of applied type. The statistical population of the research was made up of 17-18-year-old students, 265 of whom were randomly selected according to Morgan's table. In order to collect data from questionnaires, harmful use of mobile phones, Janar et al. (2007) with 6 items; using Internet; Yang (1998) with 3 items; adolescent depression; Kutcher (2002) with 6 items; A researcher-made questionnaire on the use of social networks with 6 items was used in the form of a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis was also done using the Smart PLS structural equation modeling method.Findings: The findings of the research showed that there was a direct and significant relationship between the use of information technology communication tools (mobile phone, internet, Instagram, and Telegram) and depression among adolescents in Mako Azad Zone (P<0.001).Conclusion: The use of the Internet, mobile and virtual networks, due to the false charms it creates for users, causes the loss of face-to-face communication and causes people to become introverted, thus people gradually avoid direct communication. Finally, it becomes the cause of their depression and loneliness.

Purpose: The purpose of the present paper was to study factors affecting the application of modern teaching methods by female teachers of Ilam Province. Methodology: The research is being conducted descriptively and is of a correlational type and an applied one. The statistical population includes about 4800 teachers, out of which 320 (sample size) were selected through cluster sampling. The main tool for collecting data was questionnaire which was validated and its reliability (Cronbach’s alpha) was 0.84. The statistical tests including correlation test, one-way analysis of variance, and multiple regression were used to analyze the data. Findings: The results indicated that age (P= 0.000, R= - 0.55), level of education (P= 0.000, R= - 0.47), and length of service (P= 0.000, R= - 0.45) have significant, negative relationship with application of modern teaching methods. Variables of social responsibility (P= 0.000, R= 0.48) and attitude (P= 0.000, R= 0.71) have significant, positive relationship with application of modern teaching methods. One-way analysis of variance showed that there is a significant relationship between teachers’ teaching level and the application of modern teaching methods, such that elementary-school teachers used modern teaching methods more than high-school teachers. In-service training course (P= 0.133, R= 0.10) was the only variable having no relationship with the dependent variable. The results of regression analysis showed that the four remaining variables of the model, i.e. attitude, age, teaching level, and level of education, could explain about 0.60 of variance of the dependent variable. Conclusion: Considering the fact that teachers’ attitude plays the greatest part in prediction of application of modern teaching methods, the Education System authorities should take measures to change teachers’ attitude towards modern teaching methods.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the circuit pathology in students lived experience from students' point of view. Methodology: The research method was qualitative and phenomenological. The statistical population of the present study was all undergraduate students of Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman with 10440 students in the year 2020-2021, from which 18 people were selected according to the principle of theoretical saturation by purposive sampling method. The data collection tool was a semi-structured interview. The validity of the interview was achieved through careful asking questions, not using the researcher's personal opinions in the interview and confirming the participants' correct understanding of the researcher's experiences. The validity of the interview questions was confirmed by expert professors in the field of education. In order to confirm the reliability, the agreement was calculated through Pearson correlation coefficient of 96%. Thematic analysis method was used to analyze the data.Findings: According to the research findings, damages caused by schools were placed in four main themes of education, training, interactive and environmental-physical, 12 sub-themes and 274 primary codes. The main educational topics include four sub-themes: weakness in teaching methods, weakness in content, weakness in the evaluation system and weakness in the professional competencies of the school human resources; The main educational theme includes two sub-themes: weakness in educational methods and weakness in religious education in particular; The main themes of interaction included sub-themes related to the weakness in the interaction of school human factors with the student and the main themes of environmental-physical, included two sub-themes of school space and the provision of facilities and equipment. Causes of damages include weakness in the system of selecting teachers and principals, lack of accurate and comprehensive planning, and so on. Consequences of damages also included dropping out of school, feeling anxious about school, decreased motivation to progress, and so on.Conclusion: According to the results of the present study, the four educational, educational, interactive and environmental-physical damages caused inefficiencies and fundamental weaknesses in the education system, which require serious action to eliminate them and improve the status of the educational system. The results of the present study can provide the basis for reviewing and making fundamental changes in the education system.
